1001 Shampoo is a manual cleaner for tackling large areas of carpet and upholstery and is uniquely formulated to leave treated areas fresh and revitalised for longer.
How the product works…
Shampoo gently works its magic deep-down into the fibres to leave treated areas clean by wiping out general grime from household dirt quickly and effectively. The unique Fibreshield Polymer ingredient leaves a protective shield to defend against dirt – keeping carpets and upholstery cleaner for longer. The product contains no bleaching agents or aggressive solvents and is completely safe to use on all types of carpets including wool. And what’s more it’s Woolsafe Approved.
Top Tip
Begin to work from the corner of the room that is furthest from the door. This will avoid the need to walk unnecessarily on the wet carpet.

How much should I mix?
1 part shampoo to 6 parts water. When mixing use the ratio of 1 part shampoo to 6 parts water.
Can I put in a 3 in 1 machine (VAX)?
No – 3 in 1 Machine is the carpet shampoo needed for this type of cleaner.
Can I use this on my upholstery?
Yes – however, always check that your upholstery is suitable for wet cleaning before use, always test an area and allow to dry thoroughly before use. Do not overwet upholstery.
Can I use this on my Oriental Rug?
No – the dyes used in these rugs are generally not colourfast, and will need to be dry cleaned.
Can I use this product to remove Lily Pollen?

Usage
Safety first
Always test a hidden area for colour fastness and allow to dry completely before use. Do not use this product on velvet type fabrics, brocade, rayon or those materials unsuitable for wet cleaning.
Preparation
Vacuum the carpet thoroughly before cleaning.
Here’s how to use Shampoo in a few easy steps..
- Mix 1 part of Shampoo with 6 parts of warm water and whisk to a foam.
- Apply FOAM with a clean colourfast cloth or sponge and massage into the carpet or upholstery taking care not to make the stained area too wet.
- Use a damp colourfast cloth to soak up the dirt and foam from the treated area.
- Vacuum the treated area again when dry.
Note: One Capful= approx 9ml of liquid.
